cotton fab exhibition in Trivandrum it happens every year and almost same
things are displayed every year, I was going after a long time – Maheshwaries, Indigo
prints on Maheshwari from MP, Monga, Matka and tussar silks from Bhagalpur Bihar, Kantha , Batik, Batik
& Kantha from West Bengal, Kamalkari, Ikkat and absolutely lovely crochet
dresses from Andhra , Ilkal from Maharashtra, Ajrak from Gujrat, kashmiri
embroidered suits, sarees and shawls, Chikankari from UP …. ….
Loved talking with people and getting to know more about how it is done and
where it is done …. Wanted to buy one
from each stall …. love the colors and
prints and the traditional clothes and varieties galore you get to see in India
