Don't force schoolgirls to tie hair in twin braids: Child Rights Commission

Don't force schoolgirls to tie hair in twin braids: Child Rights Commission...... I am wondering when are boys going to  file a complaint saying cutting hair, shaving is against their ‘rights’ .. ::D

The complaint says that bad smell emanates from the hair due to tying the hair in twin braids.

Let me confess – while studying in class 9 I had given this excuse to my teachers for tying hair single braid. But my teacher didn’t budge and said if other girls can do so you can I.
So I had to work out options ..

Option 1. Cut your hair short.
Option 2 Take head bath after coming from school and quick shower before going to school
Option 3. You don’t have to take head bath everyday. Its very normal for people with long hair not to take head bath everyday.

As the hair is getting broken due to the method of tying.
Hmm – Never heard of this before … probably you are not taking care of your hair properly or not tying your hair properly – please take hair care and styling tips ;)

The girls are coming to school without bathing, which in turn will result in many health problems.

Probably its not the hair but their laziness to keep clean that is resulting in many health problems :P
Check out Options 1-3

The complaint further says that the help of parents is required to tie the hair.

I agree to this point – but by the time I was in class 6 I was doing my hair myself so were most of the girls with long hair in my class

Ah ! if Class 12 student needs parents help in tying hair, just wondering whose problem is that?
If you can’t tie your hair yourself better get it cut !

The rule which is compulsorily enforced on girls is gender discrimination, the complaint says.......

Yea – Now boys can also have long hair for gender equality/ indiscrimination or have a rule where girls also need to keep only short hair like boys :D

Just wondering how about shaved heads like we used to see in the Gurukul system pictures :)

Discipline should be maintained as per the rules , if you have problems with th rule you should check out other options - its like Ary officers saying its against their rights to grow hair - You do have Sikhs in Army who have long hair but they keep it as per the  uniform code .

These days you can get away with anything saying Human Rights, Religious rights ... somewhere we are lacking common sense, self discipline  and adherence to rules and regulation ..  Its now all about of freedom of expression  ...
