Continuing with the previous topic of “Rebel” – Saw in today’s news front page – Irom Sharmila’s complete 12 years of fasting in Manipur – Protest against presence of special armed force in Manipur – protest against killing (murder) of 10 Manipuris 12 years back , and her request to Indian Government to repeal special forces from Manipur and other north eastern states …. She is forcefully nasal fed and is kept alive … wonder how many people know about her fight …

On other hand we have Team Anna -- When Anna Hazare started his first Satyagrah for Lokpal bill/Anti Corruption bill Nobel cause again – whole nation kind of came together and supported Anna’s cause - The team behind Anna – All Elite crowd – Advocate, Ex IPS officer, well organised and equipped Public Relation Team, Media coverage ensured , well scripted responses perfect timing of what to say when to say so that Anna gets maximum coverage in all channels -- What a spirit – Kya Josh tha .. And then couple of more Satyagrahs --- not sure of others but for me it was “Nautanki” done by all seasoned actors and one by one each actor started his/her own production house .. Anna is still there .. Aaam Janta is still there … who benefitted ? All I know the cause for which all the Satyagrah was done didn’t get anywhere …..

Come back to Irom – One life – One cause – Support or No Support – Media Coverage or no Coverage – She is still there – Protesting - One ordinary lady – Determined to make the difference … Not accepting any award or recognition bestowed to her by organizatrions and other countries – for her , she is yet to see result … and she is walking alone … Ekla Chalo re … Wonder how many people in India have heard her name or about her … Maybe one reason for her anonymity is she being from North Eastern state of Manipur … Hats off to Irom … She is Iron Lady .. I wish she achieves what she is fighting for … 12 years is long time … She is inspiration to many ordinary people like me , who believe that every one can be instrument of change if one decides , if one decides no more injustice will be tolerated ….
